1997 began our founder's transportation insurance consulting career with the oldest and one of the largest transportation agencies in the Southeast.

Interning with a leading Lloyds of London broker in 2000 led to working with a trucking specialized insurance agency full-time in 2001.

Our founder realized he could combine his technology and transportation insurance backgrounds to create solutions for insurance agencies that specialize in transportation.

In March 2018, we began FleetVIMS (Fleet Vehicle & Insurance Management System) to replace an outdated legacy software our agency was using.  Our founder was introduced to a team of expert database developers by a consultant with the global firm, Accenture. Going from an individual developer to a team approach helped us move toward an integrated and streamlined process. 

By April 2020, after several years of development, testing, and further improvements, we proudly released state-of-the-art Software as a Solution (SaaS) officially ready for insurance agencies, FleetVIMS.com.

November 2020, we expanded our management team with the addition of Kevin Hutelmyer who brings his extensive knowledge of wholesale transportation insurance underwriting along with his background in technology.

March 2021, Richard (Rich) Bren joined our management team bringing his experience with a variety of executive and leadership roles across insurance distribution channels, solving problems for agents, and managing transportation risks. In March 2022, Rich transitioned to our Advisory Board to help run a new MGA for Transportation.

October 2021, after 18 months of advising our management team, Tiana Schowe joined our management team.  We're excited for the energy she'll bring helping us continue to rapidly grow & service our insurance partners.

September 2022, Eric Spencer joined our team bringing his unique experience at leading insurance companies, both carrier, and retail agencies, in sales, marketing, and underwriting roles.

April 2023, Transharpe was chosen for the 2023 Broker Tech

Venture accelerator program.  As one of 12 start-ups that are a part of the cohort, Transharpe is working with Insurers, Wholesalers and Agencies to Make Insurance Easy.

April 2023, Transharpe Innovations, Inc. created replacing Transharpe Solutions, LLC

May 2023, Secured Funding and Partnered with Klienschmidt, Inc.

September 2023, rebranded FleetVIMS & Transharpe to meshVI: 

Just as a mesh interconnects and strengthens, meshVI does the same - uniting the intricate threads of insurance information and data into one powerful, intelligent platform.

The "VI" in our name, standing for Verified Insurance, underscores our pledge to empower the transportation insurance industry with reliable data and advanced technology to simplify insurance processes, mitigate risks, deliver confidence, and drive operational excellence.

Our new name signifies our unwavering commitment to advancing the industry, maintaining and evolving the same exceptional platform under a different name.
